Reviews and Ratings
I recently stayed at Sun Sea for four nights, and I loved the chill atmosphere! The hotel is perfect if you're looking for a relaxing spot away from the hectic full moon party scene, yet still easily accessible. The beach is modest, but the shaded hammocks by it really set a pleasant vibe. However, the rooms, although clean, could use some updates, and the high rental prices for scooters and dining were a letdown.
I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The prices were steep due to the full moon party, and while the atmosphere was nice for socializing, the room itself was quite cramped and uncomfortable. The location is a bit far from Haadrin, requiring a taxi to get to the action. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're just looking for a cheap spot to crash.
I had a lovely time at this resort. The bungalows are charming and just a stone's throw from the beach, making it easy to relax and enjoy the scenery. The family that runs the place is incredibly helpful and warm, although the restaurant could use some improvement in service and menu accuracy. Wi-Fi availability in the rooms would have been nice, but overall, it was a wonderful escape.
I had a really unpleasant experience at this resort. The staff was rude and the rooms were dark and not well-kept, which made my stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the high prices for both lodging and dining were really disappointing, especially given the poor state of the facilities. The only real positive was being right by the beach, but even that was marred by the unkempt surroundings.
This resort is a hidden gem for those wanting peace and quiet near the Full Moon party without being in the middle of the chaos. The bungalows are lovely and offer good value for money. The family running the place is incredibly welcoming and helpful, but the dining service was a bit inconsistent, and it would be nice if the rooms were cleaned more frequently.
